License Renewals:
All licensees are required to renew in March of each even-numbered year. Licensees will receive an email notification from ppc.krec@ky.gov regarding renewals when they are available.
Licensees may renew online on their KREC eServices account OR may complete KREC form 208 (License Renewal Form) and submit it with the appropriate payment as indicated on the form.
Active licensees must purchase E&O insurance before renewing. 2022 RISC E&O INFORMATION
Failure to renew before March 31 of each even-numbered year shall result in the cancellation of the license and additional fees, including a late renewal fee of $200.

Educational Requirements:
Continuing Education (CE)
All actively licensed agents are required to attend six (6) hours of continuing education courses sponsored or approved by the Commission. Of the six (6) hours, three (3) hours must be in courses approved for law credit. All licensees, unless otherwise exempt, shall complete the mandatory continuing education requirement by December 31 of each calendar year.
Important Note:
Kentucky requires a state-specific continuing education course (the Kentucky Core Course) to be completed by all active licensees subject to continuing education once every four (4) years.

Kentucky Core Course
Kentucky requires a state-specific continuing education course - the Kentucky Core Course - to be completed by all active licensees subject to continuing education once every four (4) years. No other continuing education course will substitute for the Kentucky Core Course. The Core Course will satisfy the continuing education requirements for licensees in the year that it is taken.

**If a licensee has a private insurance carrier policy, they must provide form 203 Certificate of Insurance Coverage. This form must be uploaded to your eServices to complete the renewal process on or before the expiration of the policy.
