Commissioner Sickle attained his sales associate license in 1985, and Broker’s license in 1999. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville, earning a Bachelors in Biology and Associate in Civil Engineering Technology. He received his Master of Business Administration from Campbellsville University of Kentucky.
Anthony holds 9 professional licensed encompassing 7 states. In addition to practicing real estate, Anthony is the only licensed African American Land Surveyor within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Active in youth entrepreneur development, Anthony Sickles has served as a postsecondary Adjunct Professor and facilitated educational forums including Metro Louisville’s first FastTrac entrepreneurial learning program.
Mr. Sickles has been the recipient of numerous honors for business, including US Small Business Administration’s Minority Small Business Person of the year; recognition by Business First as one of Metro Louisville’s Largest Minority Employers; Kentuckiana Minority Supplier Development Council Zenith Award; Minority Enterprise Development Class II Award and Kentuckiana Minority Supplier Development Council Phoenix Award; Cornerstone 2020 Site Design Award and Kentucky Masonry Institute Design Award.
He is a former elected Jefferson County, Kentucky, County Surveyor, and has served on several industry, corporate, community boards including, Brooklawn Psychiatric Treatment Center Property Committee; KMSDC Kentucky Minority Business Development Council; Small Business Steering Committee; University of Louisville’s Speed Scientific School, Women and Minority Recruitment Board; Greater Good Hope Baptist Church Student Engineering Program; Louisville Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Interchange DBE Committee; MBEIC (Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee); JCPS Ramsey Elementary School, Athletic Association, Vice President & Founding Member; Fischer Fellows; Derby Gala; and Parkland Advisory Committee.
